Obviously I feel them, but mostly I feel the pressure of your fingers on my skin, then a faint stain. As you manipulate the needle I feel a sense of fullness in that area. I wouldn't call it an ache, rather a fullness. After the first few needles I feel my body starting to relax, and I go into this kind of altered state. [p 66]
